Most of the time only the phone # is display when there is a incoming call or message. I have problem identify who the caller is. Is there a setting for this?
I tried saving the same # that appear during the call but is the same.

Actually found the solution. The name will not appear if the same # has multiple name in the phone. Assign 1 name to 1 # & the name will appear during message or call.

    Helpful blog, good job Dexter!

I can’t figure how to delete an individual entry in Calendar.
I only have DELETE ALL or ‘Before date’.

Does that mean the solution is to go forward one day to delete the actual entry, the day before?

    Help!
    Thanks
    CJ

naturally the specs and the price are good indicators for one to buy the E71, compared to the iphone.

however when I play music on its speakers, i cannot deny that the nokia 6500 classic is much better.

I would like to be able to download movies other than Realplayer from the web but my E71 doesn’t recognise any other format.

Is there software available? I could do this on my E60.

    As regards the proxy settings:

Go to Menu – Tools – Settings – Connection – Access points …

Go to options and either create a new access point or edit an existing one. When in edit mode hit options and select Advanced settings. Here you can easily enter and change Proxy server data.

    Best regards
    Simon

      Hello moderator/owner

I wanted to post this comment on your blog article about optimising the browsing… There, Jops asked about the proxy settings somewhen in May (last comment). But submitting was discarded. Maybe you could move my comment to the intended place.

    Hello
i m using E71 and having problem with incoming call while connected through bluetooth modem.Phone should prioritise voice over data as far as I’m aware so if an incoming call comes in it should kill the data connection and accept the call, once the call ends it should restore the connection. I my experiencing the opposite. missing all my calls while using internet.
    Can anyone Please HELP!
    Regards

    Zia

woot, thank you! I’ve finally came across a website where the owner knows what they’re talking about. You know how many results are in Google when I check.. too many! It’s so annoying having to go from page after page after page, wasting my day away with tons of owners just copying eachother’s articles… ugh. Anyway, thankyou for the information anyway, much appreciated.
