Free QuickOffice 6 software update for E71 users!

Free QuickOffice update Have you checked QuickOffice application installed on E71 lately, or maybe you read AAS regularly? I do both The good news for all E71 users is that you can update default QuickOffice (4.1.37.3 in my case) version 6 – for free. All you need to do is to access updates menu of application and install new one! Great surprise, not only for the owners of E71, but also E51, E52, E55, E63, newest E72, E75 and E90.

Well yeah, it downloaded allright. And now after reboot it still displays the icon but it doesn’t start anymore. It’s become bogo, no error message or anything.

What’s next?

Something went wrong, install failed but the OS rebooted anyway.. After deleting the QuickOffice LM from installation manager I could access the updates again and retried to update. Works perfectly now!

What am i doing wrong? I keep getting an update error. I’ve rebooted and everything. Any suggestions, or is this update not ready for US users yet?

Never mind! I removed the trial version that was already on my E71 and it installed just fine:)

I have a Nokia E71x and it offers version 4 for free for AT&T customers, but version 6 I have to pay for.

Whats about the Email-Adress for Billing? I dont want to pay anything so what can i do? or can i just type w fanatasy email adress?

  E-mail is for 0 Euro invoice so you will be simply registered but not charged in any way.

Yeah, it’s very fast. We’re keeping most of those things for the video walkthrough we’re doing. Will be up in the day or so.

Camera is decent, but the OS is not final so there will likely be a big improvement.
